MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION – CAT | MAT | XAT | SNAP
Master of Business Administration is a 2-Year, Post Graduate Degree program offered by various universities across the country. A student who wishes to pursue an MBA program must write down entrance examinations like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP.
CAT
The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer-based test for admission in a graduate management program. The test scores a candidate on the bases of Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability (VA) and Reading Comprehension (RC), Data Interpretation (DI) and Logical Reasoning (LR). The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) started this exam and use the test for selecting students for their business administration programs. The test is conducted every year by one of the IIMs based on a policy of rotation.
MAT
Management Aptitude Test or MAT is a national-level exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) for admissions to MBA/PGDM courses. The exam is conducted four times in a year, each in February, May, September and December. Candidates who qualify the exam are eligible for admissions to more than 600 B-schools accepting MAT scores. MAT is conducted in both offline (paper-based test) and online (computer-based test) modes.
XAT
Xavier Aptitude Test or popularly known as XAT is a national-level management entrance test conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur, for admission to management programs at XLRI and other XAT participating institutes across the country. Around 75,000 candidates are expected to appear for XAT.
SNAP
The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP Test is a national-level management entrance test conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU). The exam is conducted annually in online mode for admission to MBA, MSc (CA) / MSc (SS) programmes offered by SIU affiliated institutes. The exam is conducted in 92 cities across India. Any aspirant who has completed Graduation can take the exam.
IIFT
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade popularly known as IIFT Delhi, is an autonomous public business school established by the Government of India in 1963. NMAT
The MBA entrance exam conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is known as NMAT by GMAC. The NMAT by GMAC exam scores will be accepted by NMIMS University and 25 other management institutes across India. The total number of retakes allowed in NMAT 2019 exam is three including no-shows.

DU JAT – BMS | BFIA | BBE
DU JAT is a national level entrance exam conducted for candidates seeking admission to Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) and BA (Hons) Business Economics programmes. Candidates applying for BBS/BMS/BFIA programmes are required to appear and clear the DU JAT entrance test following which they have to appear in group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI). Candidates are offered admission to BBE programme only on the basis of their performance in the entrance test.
